In the occasional series, "attempts to make the ugly buildings of our town less so", I submit the Essex Barn vernacular favoured by Tesco. Although not perhaps the ugliest building in town, it is without a doubt (because of what it stands for) spiritually and morally the most repugnant. Here endeth the rant.
