As my mother called her maternal grandparents. Fred and Jessie Dixon. This photograph maybe was taken by the Hull Daily Mail on occasion of Fred's 50 year service 1883-1933, either that or his retirement. He therefore started work at the paper as a thirteen year old! Nana Dick died in 1941, Fred survived until he was 85 and died when I was three.
