A much needed drink in the White Horse, Beverley, before reconvening with the family. The pub is known to all as 'Nellies' as it used to be run by the three Collinson sisters, Miss Edie, Miss Dorothy and Miss Nellie. Even though it is not as authentic as it once was, it is still redolent of another age. Note gas lamp.
