We went to Hucknall, north of Nottingham to see Ada Lovelace's resting place. She was buried in a vault under St. Mary Magdalene's Church, along with her father the poet, Lord Byron. Ada was the first computer 'programmer' and produced an algorithm to calculate the Bernoulli sequence. Ada was also the first to suggest that a machine might mimic human creativity.
