Opera lovers will know that this is where the second act of Tosca takes place. An evening scene where Tosca sings a cantata whilst her lover is tortured by the evil Baron Scarpia.
Currently two thirds of its facade it is covered in scaffolding but it is one of the most important High Renaissance palaces in Rome.
